Featured Artist Francesca Tesoriere
Artsy Shark presents the work of Italian artist Francesca Tesoriere. She has been illustrating books for about seven years and also licenses her designs. You can see her portfolio on Flickr, on the Italian website Associazione Illustratori and on Studio Creativity.
Francesca states, “I work as a freelance illustrator for book publishers (children’s books and scholastic), and for graphics studios and advertising agencies, in Italy and Worldwide. I like using various techniques of painting, from traditional mediums (pencils, acrylics, oils, watercolours) to digital.”
Currently she is working with Bella Greetings of Canada, through a U.S. company, and she is searching for new manufacturers, to submit proposals and new concepts.
What inspires her? “Anything, I always have archives of images I like, video, foto…etc I like. When I don’t work, I always look around me, and collect things like an ant!”
Francesca has traveled throughout Europe. Her goal is to make a living as a full-time illustrator.
