Artsy Shark is looking for 26 Artists to Feature.
Would you like to be considered?
Submissions will be accepted from May 1-8, 2013
Several times a year, Artsy Shark issues a call for visual artists working in any medium who would like to submit their work for consideration to become a Featured Artist. This is a juried submission process, and is competitive.
Each artist chosen to be featured will have an article published about them on Artsy Shark. This offers each artist an opportunity to tell their story in their own words, and present their portfolio. Artsy Shark receives over 25,000 unique visitors per month, which gives extensive exposure to each Featured Artist, and drives traffic to the artist’s website.
Talk about results! On the very first day I became a featured artist, I received an inquiry from a gallery that wanted to sell my work. – Helen Rudy
Featured artist articles hold the “top spot” for two days, and then become part of the Featured Artist Gallery permanently. Each article is emailed to thousands of subscribers, and promoted on social media. The article contains a link to the artist’s website, links to their social media pages and other places online where the artist’s work can be seen.
Many times the artist’s featured page on Artsy Shark appears on the first page of a Google search for their name. Artists should consider it an extension of their website and their web presence, and continue to promote their featured page for as long as they like – linking to it on their website press page, in a blog post, on social media, in their email signature and more.
This is an unbelievable marketing tool. I received a massive amount of interest, and solid hits on my website. It was a phenomenal experience being a featured artist. I am going to use it to add legitimacy to what I want to accomplish. – Jeff Mueller
Artsy Shark receives no payment or commission on sales of artwork made as a result of being featured.
