Upcoming Online Art Exhibitions

by Carolyn Edlund

Interested in participating in an online art exhibition? These two opportunities are available now!

I’d like to invite readers to consider submitting their art to either or both of these upcoming competitions. If your work is a good match, please do! Manhattan Arts International and Light Space & Time Gallery are well-respected in the online art community, and I’m honored to have been asked to be a judge for both exhibitions.

Healing Power of Art Exhibition Manhattan Arts

I asked Renee Phillips, founder of Manhattan Arts International, about their 10th annual exhibition on healing and art. “Since our inception more than 30 years ago, we have provided exposure for thousands of artists from around the world through our curated art programs,” she says. “We believe that art has the potential to deliver positive benefits to viewers. We also know that many artists experience art-making as a healing process.”

Healing Power of Art Winners

A few winners from previous Manhattan Arts International “The Healing Power of Art” exhibitions: Cindy Walton, James B. Campbell, Elke Daemmrich, Karen Yee, Ober-Rae Starr Livingstone, and Judith Kruger.

The Manhattan Arts International online exhibition “The Healing  Power of Art” will present a wide variety of art  that has healing qualities. Learn more and apply here. Entry deadline is April 10, 2015.

More than 25 artists will be selected for this online exhibition. It is open to all professional artists from around the world. All subjects and styles of two- and three-dimensional art will be shown. Several additional awards will be given, including an article about the artist on Artsy Shark.

2015 CityScapes Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Gallery also presents an opportunity for artists to gain recognition with their 5th annual “Cityscapes” competition. Winning artists are publicized extensively, through press releases, social media and links to the artist’s website.

Open to artists everywhere, this competition has a city theme. John Math, the founder of LST says, “Cityscape subjects would be considered to be any 2D or 3D art depicting cities, towns, urban scenes and any related metropolitan subjects for this art competition.”

Find out more about this opportunity here. Deadline for submissions is March 27, 2015.
