Dream with a Green Dragon II

“Dream with a Green Dragon II” oil on canvas, 50 cm x 50 cm, 2014

I was born in 1980 in the Republic of Moldova, a country with a dream name. Located at the crossroads of Latin and Slavic paths, I found that diverse creative sources were open to me there.

I built upon my passion for painting by pursuing a formal education in art. In 2000, I moved to France to complete my studies, culminating in a Master’s degree from the Sorbonne. Today, I live and work in Brussels, where I maintain an art studio.

“Tree of waiting” 20cm x 20 cm, oil on paper, 2015

My artwork has been exhibited in Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Lausanne, Dijon, Bucharest, and Chisinau. I am privileged to have my work in private collections throughout Europe.

Dream with a White Horse

“Dream with a White Horse” 60 cm x 90 cm, oil on canvas, 2010

The main technique that I use is oil on canvas, but I also like to experiment with new techniques and mediums like wood, glass, and paper.

Dream with a Green Dragon"

“Dream with a Green Dragon” oil on canvas, 50 cm x 50 cm, 2014

My artistic work connects to childhood, fairytales, and symbols, crafting a bridge that everyone can cross. I feel a need to create a space of chromatic freedom from which buried memories can surge, allowing us to step across this fragile “bridge of remembrance.” It’s an open invitation to meet the Little Prince in all of us.

Summer Day

“Summer Day” oil on canvas, 60 cm x 60 cm, 2010

My work is full of revisited symbols. Pure and vibrant color mixes with melancholic children lost in the hills of their villages. Benevolent dragons protect children’s dreams. Trees of life with brilliant colors symbolic of the soul change color in each moment of existence.

Dream with a Red Dragon

“Dream with a Red Dragon” oil on canvas, 100 cm x 100 cm, 2014

The course of my life over the last fifteen years has taken me far away from Moldova, my country of origin. Nevertheless, I remain spiritually very close to my homeland. My desire to make it more widely known has only increased with my absence.
