I am a healing artist. I believe in the interconnectedness of the physical, mental, and spiritual. I know that for many of us creatives, art is a spiritual path, a transformational process, a way of being.

I think perhaps because I am a therapist and healer, I create my art with healing intention.

My paintings are bursting and saturated with colors, movement, and energy! They are usually oversized and are definitely better experienced in-person due to live vibrations of bright colors, heavy textures and just overall charisma and liveliness. However, many who have seen my work have also reported back that they feel the same healing effect from the giclees, small prints or copies of my originals.

A lot of my viewers tell me they are attracted to the movement and bright colors in my art.

Many say they experience joy, calmness, emotional stability and happiness. They see themselves “on a journey” and report feeling better physically as well as emotionally. People feel fascinated, joyful and grateful when they experience my art in a gallery, at a show, or just in an art magazine or catalog where they find it published.

I believe my healing art provides an opportunity to explore feelings. It brings up different emotions, thoughts and feelings and it is always created with an intention to elicit a positive response.

Healing happens in the experience of interacting with a painting. A viewer is not only looking at, but experiencing it in multiple dimensions. Looking at (observing) happens on a cognitive level while experiencing occurs on a visceral level which allows the deeper healing to take place.

Sometimes a person doesn’t understand why they are attracted to a painting, but they do respond to certain vibrations of colors, energetically balanced compositions and the positive emotional responses embedded there.

I am currently working on an amazing joint project with another pronounced artist, the legendary Sotirios Gardiakos [Garsot]. Our collaboration is much more than just two artists working together.

We define our unique concept as © ArtSynergism, and create our unique series by painting together, simultaneously, on the same canvas. We are without defined parameters or tasks, freely flowing, integrating our individual techniques, art forms, styles, intertwining, embracing and enhancing each other’s spontaneous colors and movement.

Our first series “Muses and Music,” consists of ten large square paintings (48″ x 48″), one for each muse in accordance with Greek mythology. They include bright colors, energetically balanced composition, an ancient theme, embedded healing messages, and of course, the beauty of the muses and the music. All this creates an amazing and inviting ambiance full of light, love, beauty and healing.
