Call for Artists, Summer 2018

Are you interested in becoming a featured artist on Artsy Shark? We invite visual artists in any medium to submit an application for consideration during our current Call for Artists. Mediums include painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, fiber, glass, wood, printmaking, jewelry and others.

Featured articles give the artist an opportunity to tell their story and share their inspiration, technique, and portfolio. All artist features are promoted through social media and email to our wide audience. Each article is permanent, and always shareable. Since 2010, more than 1,000 artist features have been published. View all featured artists by clicking this link.

This Call for Artists involves a competitive juried process with a fee of $20 to apply. Not all artists will be offered a feature. Artists who have been previously featured may not apply again. Selections are made by viewing applicant’s website or other online presence where a portfolio is displayed. Artists who apply will be notified of the results of their application within three weeks of the application deadline.

A link to the featured artist’s website appears prominently in each feature. This provides opportunities to make sales, capture email addresses of interested visitors, and gain social media followers.

Artsy Shark receives no fees or commissions whatsoever for any sales or contracts that result from being featured.
