Santa Fe Art-Business Conference

Join us this September for a dynamic three-day conference for working artists in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico.



The Third Annual Santa Fe Art-Business Conference will take place on September 16, 17 and 18, 2019 at the Convention Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It will be presented by The Clark Hulings Fund for Visual Artists (CHF), a nonprofit dedicated to helping artists becoming self-sustaining entrepreneurs. This event will feature high-level business training as an interactive professional development program. Previous conference attendees have called this training “transformational” in helping them build thriving small businesses.

The theme of the first day will be The Artist Entrepreneur with critical sessions related to career blueprint and planning. Topics include Your Business Objective, Designing an Action Plan, Recruiting Your Tribe, and Overcoming Resistance. The second conference day will focus on The Artist and the Economy. Sessions include Nail Your Brand Story, Win Your Audience, Developing a Sales Strategy, Sales Channels, Pricing, and Selling Art Online. Speaker Elizabeth Hulings, Director of CHF will lead off the conference. Also speaking are CHF Marketing Director Daniel DiGriz, and Carolyn Edlund, CHF Sales & Events Director and founder of Artsy Shark.

The third day of the event is a highly interactive Thriving Art Exchange. This intensive working session will bring together artists, industry leaders, influencers, artist advocates and other stakeholders. Led by nationally known facilitator Shem Cohen, participants will examine the current state of the art industry for the purpose of redefining and positioning the local art economy for mutual success.
