Artists interested in being featured and promoted by Artsy Shark are invited to apply now. The deadline for submissions is midnight on May 21, 2020.
Artsy Shark publishes individual portfolios articles that present a collection of work by each selected artist. As a featured artist, you share your art and tell your artist story in your own words. A prominent link to your website appears in the feature headline. This drives online traffic directly to you for the purpose of making sales, capturing the email addresses of visitors, and gaining social media followers.
Artists apply through a competitive juried process, with an application fee of $25. Not all artists will be selected. This process involves reviewing each applicant’s website or other online presence. All applicants will be notified of results within three weeks of the deadline.
For the past ten years, Artsy Shark has featured more than 1,500 artists and promoted them extensively to art lovers around the world through social media and email. Portfolio articles remain on our site permanently, and can be shared and viewed at any time in our Featured Artists Gallery.
After each feature is published and promoted, we send the artist a customized “magazine style” version in PDF format to use as marketing collateral, and to promote as press exposure. See a sample PDF here
The opportunity to become a featured artist happens only a few times each year, and this is your chance to submit! We encourage 2D and 3D artists in all mediums to apply, including: painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, collage, photography, mixed media, clay, fiber, glass, wood, printmaking, metal and others.
Artsy Shark receives no fees or commissions whatsoever for any sales or contracts that result from being featured.
THE DEADLINE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY HAS PASSED.
