I am a sculptor who was lucky to be born in Romania. It is a country with an ancient cultural heritage, which gave the art world the sculptor Constantin Brancusi.

 

 

My artistic education started at an early age. I was exposed to my father’s artworks, regular visits to art exhibitions, and museums and documentaries related to great art and famous artists.

 

 

It continued with formal artistic training at University of Arts in Iasi, Romania.

 

 

I consider myself a philosopher of solid matters. I use my knowledge of multiple fields like philosophy, geometry, mythology and convert it into the language of the visual arts to express ideas or principles.

 

 

I carve my sculptures with the goal of “catharsis” in my mind. This is the same goal which the ancient Greeks were aiming at when writing their scripts for tragedies or comedies.

 

 

I’m an artist who is in a constant quest for harmony as a principle in life and in my artwork as well. I use my knowledge of working with traditional materials (wood, marble and metal) and principles of composition in fine arts to create harmonious sculptures.

 

 

They are meant to bring a sense of positivity, joy and connection with the universe and achievements of human civilization.
