Living in Mont Tremblant, I’m surrounded daily by nature’s splendor and influenced by the ever changing seasons. Opting to paint outdoor when ever possible, I share an old train station as a studio, which greets cyclists in the summer and skiers in the winter, adding to the overall experience.
I received my first set of oil paints at the age of eight without ever realizing that my career would be determined at that very moment.
Through the years, I’ve explored many facets of the art world and discovered that in our domain, one can never achieve his full potential, which is why being an artist has always felt right to me.
I love to constantly reinvent my self, playing with form and color, working abstractions within a figurative image and adding vibrations by painting rough strokes and leaving unpainted outlines, often letting small amounts of the red-orange canvas show through.
As an artist, I’ve had the privilege of travelling the world painting destinations for cruise lines, cowboy boot paintings for southwestern galleries, creating renderings of mega yachts for the rich and famous, moose paintings for Canadian Embassies and Corporations, triathlon paintings for the Ironman events, wine bottles for wineries and wine enthusiasts.
Through it all, my goal is to share my passion and enthusiasm with my audience.
