I’ve drawn and painted for as long as I can remember.

“Forever Yours” acrylic on copper metal plated canvas, 100cm x 100cm

Drawing and painting was always a way for me to create my own world in the colors I wanted. Because I was adept at learning foreign languages, my parents wanted me to study languages at the university and become a translator. I wanted to paint, however, and study the tools and techniques to create art. I decided to study Communicational Design which included graphics, illustration, layout, calligraphy and much more.

“Regeneration” acrylic, gesso and graphite on canvas, 150cm x 150cm

After I graduated, I worked as a freelance graphic designer, but it didn’t make me happy. I found it difficult and dissatisfying to work under pressure and to have to create based on the client’s ideas. As a graphic designer I begin to lose all of my passion and creativity. After I separated from my husband, I became a single mom with two daughters. At that point I put my art on hold and found a day job to support my family.

“The Power of Joy” acrylic, gesso and graphite on canvas, 140cm x 140cm

I was really fortunate to get a job in an international company that taught me so many things: customer relations, IT, sales and finance. I worked there for ten years and was the head of two departments.

“Of Light and Shadow” acrylic and graphite on canvas, 100cm x 100cm

Over time, I began to burn out. My body and mind were telling me that I needed to listen to the creative call deep down inside of me.

“Happy Memories” (diptych) acrylic, oil, graphite and gesso on canvas, 160cm x 100cm

I realized that I needed to do what I truly loved and missed all those years—to start painting again. And I did! Now I am a professional artist. I do figurative work, but I mainly create abstract and expressive paintings. I also work out of my studio in Munich as a painting instructor.

The inspiration behind my images is the story of hope, healing, joy, unreserved respect, love for nature.

“This delicate moment of joy” acrylic, gesso and graphite on canvas, 140cm x 140cm

I love working with colors and their variations, mixing different hues together and being surprised by the different tones I can create as well as exploring the interaction between colors. I work with high-quality materials and professional acrylic and oil paints only. Lightfastness and color brilliance are absolutely indispensable for me.

“Blooming Forever” acrylic and graphite on canvas, 100cm x 100cm

My work is boldly colored and richly textured. The heavy layered acrylics often look like oils, with markings drawn, scratched, sanded and carved into the image.

When my soul sings” acrylic, gesso and graphite on canvas, 150cm x 150cm

My work is based on joy—creating and transforming all that I see into unique artworks that aim to bring joy to the viewer. My vision is very emotional, intuitive and positive, with brightly colored gestural brushwork and a passionate reference to the oneness with nature.
