“Infinicity” oil on canvas, 80cm x 60cm
I grew up in Southern Italy, in a family where affection came dressed as duty. That tight, solid world shaped a need for freedom that I carried for decades without knowing what to do with it. I moved along the Adriatic coast, studied, worked—in accounting, in European funding projects, in local politics—always inside structures that looked a lot like the one I had started from.

“Light Pulse” oil on canvas, 100cm x 60cm
At forty, painting broke through. Not as a hobby or a late-blooming talent, but as a necessity. It was the place where the search for myself finally became a search I could hold in my hands.

“Paradiso Canto III Piccarda Donati” oil, 100cm x 60cm
My language is the pixel pittorico, and it found me almost by chance while I was searching for a different way to render movement and depth. Fragments of oil colour, applied with a palette knife in one decisive gesture at a time, sit on a grid that holds the image together and lets it open up at once.

“Towards Jonathan-Livingston” oil on canvas, 100cm x 150cm
From a distance, figures emerge—faces, bodies, city crowds, skylines. Up close, planes of colour take over, raw and physical, the knife marks present and alive.

“Resilienza” oil on canvas, 100cm x 100cm
The more I worked with this technique, the more I recognised in it something essential: a way to hold everything I carry inside—experiences, beliefs, contradictions—and let it all surface together. It became my way of distilling what I live and expressing it whole.

“Through the Flow” oil on canvas, 100cm x 60cm
That tension between closeness and distance is at the heart of what I do. I believe you always need a certain distance to understand. In painting, and in life.

“Jump into Life” oil on canvas, 120cm x 80cm
The fragment is freedom. The fragment is connection. It is the structural principle, the weave that holds us—not me alone, but all of us together. I work across several series, each one exploring a different register of freedom. Freedom traces the path from freedom denied to freedom claimed—the outer struggle and the inner one.

“Urban Elegance” oil on canvas, 60cm x 100 cm
Metropolitan maps the reciprocal transformation between people, cities, and space—the vital energy that circulates when human beings move freely among each other. Soul Mirrors works through close-ups of faces, investigating the infinite nuances of being human and our permeability to others.

“Urban Connections” oil on canvas, 60cm x 100cm
My goals are clear to me, even when the path is not. I want my work to reach collectors and spaces where complexity is welcomed rather than reduced. I want to show that painting—slow, physical, material—still has something irreplaceable to say in a time that accelerates, simplifies, and flattens. Each fragment holds more possibility than a finished, closed form. That is what I keep painting toward.
