I am Pierce Everett. To be succinct, I’ve been drawing, painting, sculpting all of my life. I’ve attended many art schools and sought tutoring from great talents when opportunity would arise.

 

 

Over the years  I’ve  have had the fortune of being able to work with a number of well-known professional artists, musicians, film makers, photographers, and writers, each one leaving their memory and permanent impression on me.

 

 

Many of my opportunities have come to pass from my love of the oceans and sailing for years on their waters. Adventures and experiences abound. They total to make the whole of me as I am today.

 

 

I have recently chosen to lay the design aspect of my daily pursuits to rest.  This will allow me the total of my days to immerse myself in my paintings and to work wholeheartedly toward creating what I intend to be a prolific broad and varied collection of paintings that might share a part of my exciting life as well as communicate thoughts and share impressions via the magic of oil colors on various canvases.

 

 

To begin working with a clean canvas reminds me of the beginning of a long voyage to a destination you’ve never seen before.  The process is always adventurous, educational, and ultimately satisfying.

 

 

I would hope that I may convey these extraordinary voyages with the arrival of the finished piece; that it may catch someone’s eye in a way that would evoke emotion and a pride of ownership of one of my paintings.
