The moments in our lives shape life itself. That’s why the happier and more beautiful these moments are, the more beautiful and joyful life becomes, both within and around us.

 

 

My name is Rumjana Georgieva, and I sign my canvases with my artistic name, Romi Gianna. I chose to use an artistic pseudonym because, for me, art is that magical world where the artist is the main character. It is a world of beauty, wonder, light, and magic. Everything that has the power to transform our lives for the better—by inspiring us, filling us with positive energy and emotions, and even healing our eyes, hearts, and souls.

 

 

Art reminds us of the limitless possibilities and spontaneity present in every moment. It is precisely that moment I strive to capture and recreate on the blank canvas.

 

 

As a full-time artist, art embodies for me a deep sense of vibration, enthusiasm, joy, and immense fulfilment. There is no greater reward than seeing my creations come to life on a blank canvas. They touch people’s hearts, and find a cherished place in their homes and personal spaces—where they feel most at ease. I take great joy in knowing that my art can add beauty and warmth to their surroundings.

 

 

I paint with acrylics and absolutely love experimenting with different styles and genres—Cubism, Fauvism, Expressionism, decorative and modern art. I also explore various techniques and materials such as quartz sand, modeling paste, mixed media, and gold paints. These styles and tools give me the freedom to express thoughts, emotions, and states of being without limitations.

 

 

They allow me to transform each painting into a time machine. It creates memories and shared experiences, new realities or becomes a window into new worlds. This is where I, as an artist, can tell stories with my brush. At other times, I simply paint the beauty of nature in its many interpretations.

 

 

This comes naturally to me. I was born and continue to create in the ancient city of Sofia, Bulgaria, situated in the heart of the Balkan Peninsula. The rich Thracian culture, history, and mythology is woven into the genetic code and vibration of this magical place.

 

 

Its stunning landscapes, wild rivers, playful waterfalls, lakes, mineral springs, the Black Sea, the majestic Balkan Mountains, and the mythical Rhodope Mountains, all tell me remarkable stories. These are the stories I wish to share with the world through my art.
