” Deep Space” acrylic enamel, audio tape, marker, fabric on canvas, 36″ x 48″
Painting is a meditation on presence—a way of asking questions that have no need for answers. Based in the Northeast, I work from a large warehouse studio surrounded by a vibrant community of artists—but my own process is rooted in solitude.

“Reign” acrylic, fabric, newspaper, marker on canvas, 20″ x 20″
The studio is where I go to listen inward, with sacred music, jazz, or classical compositions playing softly as I work. Early afternoons are my most alive time, when I feel most connected to the mysterious dialogue between myself and the canvas.

“Perihelion” acrylic enamel, marker, ink on canvas, 42″ x 66″
I began my creative journey studying the human figure. One college teacher, in particular, opened the door for me by emphasizing the importance of creating from the inside out. Through drawing and painting the figure, I tapped into a powerful sense of emotion and universal energy—something I carry with me still, even as my work shifted away from figuration.

“Helix” acrylic enamel, ink on canvas,
36″ x 36″
Today, my paintings exist in the realm of abstraction, but they are anchored by geometry—a timeless structure that speaks to harmony, restraint, and the quiet elegance of order beneath chaos. Circles—symbols of wholeness, infinity, and spiritual energy—appear frequently in my compositions. They float above poured fields of color and texture, layered with both paint and collaged forms.

“Meridian” acrylic enamel, ink on canvas,
72″ x 60″
The process is intuitive and immersive. I work with spatulas and tools borrowed from the trades, letting the materials guide me more than any plan. Painting, for me, is an act of not-knowing—an invigorating meditation on life, a form of discovery, and, ultimately, an act of love.

“Sounds of Nature” acrylic, sand, acrylic enamel, marker on canvas, 24″ x 30″
This most recent body of work explores the connection between consciousness and the cosmos. I’m fascinated by the idea that what we experience internally mirrors the expansive mystery of the universe.

“Shape of Space” acrylic enamel, fabric, marker on canvas
60″ x 50″
My hope is that these paintings offer viewers a moment of wonder and a sense of joyful resonance—something that speaks to both the personal and the universal. I want the work to invite people in, to open them to their own emotional and spiritual experiences.

There’s more to come—new exhibitions are on the horizon across the Northeast. For now, I’m in the studio, showing up each day, listening, layering, discovering—always painting toward something just out of reach.
