“Bayeux, France” acrylic, 18″ x 24″
Originally from Bristol, a borough of Philadelphia, I grew up surrounded by the rich artistic and historical environment of my hometown. It’s known for its historic charm and a role in the Underground Railroad.

“Made in America” acrylic, 18″ x 36″
This influence, coupled with the colonial character of Bucks County, shaped my creative perspective from an early age. I began my formal studies under the mentorship of my art teacher, William T. Bagley, a master Impressionist. This is where I honed my skills in oil and watercolor painting and discovered my artistic voice.

“Fly Fishing” acrylic, 16″ x 20″
After moving to Los Angeles, I gained a new perspective on my work. Its endless urban sprawl, set against sweeping landscapes of ocean and mountains, revealed beauty in the everyday and the ordinary. There I began capturing quiet celebrations of life, one snapshot at a time.

“Birds on Beach” acrylic, 18″ x 24″
I am deeply influenced by the world around me: the beauty in ordinary moments, the details that spark curiosity, and the interplay between shadow and light. I’m drawn to their intricate dance—how contrast animates a subject and transforms the commonplace into the sublime.

“Bread and Soup” acrylic, 10″ x 20″
I am equally captivated by minutiae: each fold of fabric, weathered wood grain, or seemingly unremarkable surface that quietly tells a story of splendid celebration.

“Bowl of Nuts” acrylic, 11″ x 14″
My work seeks to capture the essence and simplicity of this beauty, exploring the familiar and the everyday. I find inspiration in the quiet dignity of forgotten places, the poetry of textures and shadows, and the stories etched into faces and forms.

“Walden Woods 2″ acrylic, 22″ x 28”
In a world dominated by technology, schedules, and sound bites, I strive to honor the ordinary beauty of daily life. Through my paintings, I celebrate what truly matters—the fleeting, precious moments that make life remarkably beautiful.
