I love working big and continue to articulate annual collections for exhibition and public display. My art practice is structured on an academic calendar. I exhibit in the Spring through Fall. I am currently articulating my canvas artwork to iterations of my art as design on leisure outdoor living products (rain umbrellas, beach umbrellas, flags & cabanas).
I offer editions of my large scale artwork on organic cotton canvas with water based inks, (eco printing). I see my work in hotel lobbies. resorts, corporate, public & private collection. I am currently exhibiting at the hotel des art, san francisco with screaminc.net. I just sold, “See beauty in what you do”, appropriating Marilyn Monroe imagery below for $5000.
My inspiration for my annual collections is reflecting positively on humanity, offering the viewer a moment to pause. Art is for all the public to enjoy.
Photography has always been a muse for my abstract collections. I spend a great deal of time outdoors with my husband, daughter and two dogs at the ocean as often as possible. I follow the burgeoning museum culture, gallery culture, artrepreneurs & global submissions.
Currently, I await a reply from the ecole des beaux art des lyon, post graduate program in contemporary art. I love the crossover of the academic study of art practice, history and salon as my practice grows.
