“Motherland” Oil on Canvas, 36” x 24”
Born into a family of art enthusiasts, I started taking traditional oil painting lessons at a young age. When I started to paint at a very early age, my father was my first teacher. He taught me how to hold the brush and how to make a painting with brushstrokes.
In college, I studied advertising art and worked with several design companies. Nevertheless, my love for oil painting stayed strong.

“Summer Breeze” Acrylic on Canvas, 12” x 36”
In recent years, I began to transform my painting style, combining my love of nature and its vibrant colors with a more contemporary, abstract approach.

“Autumn Orange” Acrylic on Canvas, 12” x 36”
The freedom and depth that came with experimenting with different colors, textures, and their effects, created a renewed energy and passion in my mind, which is shown in my work today. I am currently living with my husband, daughter and son in Southern California.

“Dream Forest” Oil on Canvas, 36” x 40”
Beginning with a more traditional style and transitioning to a contemporary style, my work represents experiment of emotions, spirit and harmony through nature. The message I am trying to send to the viewers is to appreciate the nature that was given to us to enjoy and heal our souls.

“Fall in Arroyo” Acrylic on Canvas, 36” x 48”
My work reflects my passion about nature and colors, without following any rules. I usually don’t have a plan in advance, although I do make colors the main focus of each painting. I just let my imagination control the colors and the brushwork as they start their journey on the canvas.

“The Twilight” Acrylic on Canvas, 12” x 36”
At some point everything comes together. Each completed piece portrays the energy, lightness and freedom within it. Painting is a form of self expression; it’s a method of representing my thoughts.

“Merging Lights” Oil on Canvas, 36” x 24”
My landscape paintings are interpretations of what I see, although every viewer will see their own version of my paintings.

“Early Autumn” Acrylic on Canvas, 36” x 48”
I am hoping they would experience the same feeling as I did – harmony, kindness and good energy. Isn’t that what life is all about?
